Retired salesman ALBERT is spending his final act in a memory care unit. But in his mind, he’s a VIP in 1960s Las Vegas, trading banter and big-band numbers with his imaginary best friend, “The Big Man,” a smooth-talking crooner who knows how to make life feel larger than it is.

LAINIE, Albert’s late wife, remains his constant cheerleader and North Star—a woman who never stopped believing in him despite his lack of success. In his hallucinations, he still sees her as the young, vibrant partner he fell in love with decades ago. Meanwhile, Albert’s adult children are grappling with the realities of caring for him. His son BRIAN, a practical family man who once idolized his father, struggles to make peace with his hero declining before his eyes. His daughter OLIVIA, a high-powered Hollywood PR fixer, must learn to lean in and let go of the resentment she’s carried for years.
